Liberian recording artist Spize has officially ended his professional relationship with LIB Muzik, announcing his decision to continue his career as an independent artist.

The announcement was made via a public statement released on social media, in which Spize confirmed that the separation marks the conclusion of his time with the label after a period of collaboration that contributed to the development and exposure of his music.

According to Spize, the partnership played a key role in bringing his sound to a wider audience and establishing a foundation for his career. He expressed appreciation to the LIB Muzik team for their support and belief in his artistic direction throughout their working relationship.

Spize indicated that the decision to part ways was part of a broader plan to pursue a new phase of his career. He noted that while the partnership has ended, the experience and momentum gained during his time with the label will continue to inform his work moving forward.

Neither Spize nor LIB Muzik disclosed specific details regarding the terms of the separation, and the label has not issued a public response at the time of this report.

Spize’s move comes amid a growing number of artists in the Liberian music industry opting for independent careers, citing creative autonomy and direct engagement with audiences as key factors.

The artist concluded his statement by assuring fans that new projects are in development as he prepares to formally launch his career as an independent act.
